Counselor General Information
Thank you for your interest in being a counselor at Camp Ailihpomeh! You are what makes this opportunity possible for our 140 campers and we cannot thank you enough for your time, energy, and patience. We look forward to seeing you at camp this year and if you have any questions in the meantime, please let us know!
Camp will provide 150 service hours and a letter of recommendation to anyone who volunteers and successfully completes a week of camp.
Be a Mentor
Criteria
You must be 18 years of age or older. You may not have a son at camp who is under 15. You may not have a son at camp who is attending for the first time regardless of age. You must be of good character. Relatives of campers are welcome!
Counselor Application Process
Complete an Application
You must complete an application completely. No partial applications will be reviewed.
Schedule an Interview
An interview must be scheduled and completed prior to May 31.
Background Check
Upon completion of your application a background check will be conducted.
Reference Check
Three references must be provided in your application and we must be able to contact them before May 31.
