Hello!
Thank you for wanting to volunteer at Camp Ailihpomeh!
Your registration begins here:
http://app.campdoc.com/register/ailihpomeh
Create an account and register as a COUNSELOR. Please make sure that your CampDoc registration is fully completed. You will know if you've completed every required item if you see green marks all the way down on the right hand side of your screen upon logging in. If you see anything with a yellow or red indicator, please go into that step and complete it. We are unable to process a required background check or place you in a cabin if the CampDoc registration is in any way incomplete.
Next, you need to complete your Interview. This is in two parts: Written and Phone Interviews. Go to the following link to set up a time for a required phone interview, this will take approximately 20-30 minutes of your time.
Schedule a Phone Interview
You also need to complete the written portion of the interview prior to your phone interview. You can schedule the phone interview anytime before June 15 by going to this link:
Written Interview
You will also need 2 of your 3 references to complete this form for you before June 15. Please send your references the following link. They will complete the form and submit.
Reference Check
Texas law requires all counselors attending camp take an on-line abuse prevention course every two years. You will receive an e-mail from Abuse Prevention Systems to take your abuse prevention course. This email will come from a company called Abuse Prevention Systems. Please check your junk e-mail box as some filters may see this as spam and send it there. The e-mail will contain a link for the training. Simply click on the link to take the training, upon passing the test at the end, I will be notified of your completion and see your certificate online--no need to email it to me. This takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Please complete this abuse prevention course prior to June 15.
Camp John Marc (the location where Camp Ailihpomeh takes place) has required pre-camp training and this will most likely be made available via live web training. As soon as dates have been set for these trainings you will need to select a training date that works with your schedule. You will not be allowed to attend camp unless you have completed this Camp John Marc training.
Upon completion of all these requirements, please mark your calendar to arrive at camp on Saturday July 15th (the day before campers arrive) at 1pm for mandatory onsite training. You can additionally find a packing list on our website.
After June 15, if the interviews, references, and abuse training haven't been completed or scheduled, your registration will be deactivated. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks again!
