Thank you for your interest in being a counselor at Camp Ailihpomeh! You are what makes this opportunity possible for our 140 campers and we cannot thank you enough for your time, energy and patience. We look forward to seeing you at camp this year and if you have any questions that we can answer in the meantime, please let us know! Criteria 18 or older Not have a son at camp who is under 15 Not have a son at camp who is attending for the first time regardless of age Other relatives are welcome to be counselors Of good character Process Complete an application You will be contacted within two weeks to schedule an interview A criminal background check will be conducted through the Texas Depeartment of Public Safety. If you have a felony, DUI or other major finding within the past five years you may not be a counselor. All References will be checked A second interview will be conducted once the bacckground check is completed and references have been checked Camp will provide 150 service hours and a letter of recommendation to anyone who volunteers and successfully completes a week of camp.
